Launching BRX Digital
Why I'm wrapping my products, my client work and my notes under one independent studio.
After five years of shipping software solo, I'm bringing it all under one roof. BRX Digital is the studio that wraps my SaaS products, my client work, and these notes — a single house, multiple rooms.
Why now
I needed a name that says, clearly: I build products. I also help a small handful of teams. And I write. Three activities, one brand, no confusion.
Three principles
There are exactly three things I care about.
- Craft. Detail matters. Performance matters. Feel matters. If a product feels good, people will tolerate a lot. If it feels heavy, no amount of features will save you.
- Independence. No investors. No board. No quarterly growth pressure. The business funds itself, or it doesn't exist.
- Focus. Few projects, lots of attention. I'd rather ship one great thing per year than five mediocre ones.
What changes for clients and partners
Almost nothing operationally. The invoices come from BRX Digital, the contracts come from BRX Digital, and the contact email is the same. The change is structural — the products live in the same studio as the client work, which means the same standards apply to both.
What I'm publishing here
The journal is the most experimental piece. You'll find:
- Short notes on craft (animation timing, type ramps, perf hacks)
- Longer essays on running a one-person studio
- Process pieces — how a specific feature got designed and shipped
- Occasional teardowns of products I admire
No SEO clickbait, no listicles. Things I'd want to read.
What's next
Drivesoft keeps shipping. DeviFlow and CalorieAI are live and growing. SquadHub.gg has a strong community ramp ahead. Otherwise, I'm taking the rest of 2026 to push the bar on existing work rather than spread thin.
If you want to follow along, the journal is the main channel, and contact is open for projects that fit.
